Draw with your camera.
Pick a picture and see it over your paper through your phone's camera, half see-through, so you can trace it line by line. It's an AR drawing tool that runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install. Or use your screen as a light box. Your pictures never leave your phone.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Tracing with the camera, the light box and photo to sketch are free, with no ads and no sign-up. Pro, coming soon, will add timelapse videos, more practice sketches and lessons.
Is this an AR drawing app?
It does what AR drawing apps do, showing your picture over the live camera so you can trace it, but it runs in your browser. There's nothing to download and no account to make.
How does drawing with a camera work?
Your phone shows the paper through its camera with your picture laid on top, half see-through. You look at the screen and follow the lines with your pencil. It's the camera lucida, an artist's tool from 1806, rebuilt in a phone.
What's the best way to hold the phone?
Don't hold it: prop it 20–30 cm above the paper so it can't move. A drinking glass, a stack of books or a cheap phone stand all work. Then press Lock so the picture stays put.
Why is the camera black or not starting?
Your browser needs permission to use the camera. Allow it when asked; if you blocked it, re-allow it in your browser's site settings (on iPhone: Settings → Safari → Camera). Close other apps that might be using the camera.
Is my picture uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo, the camera view and the outline are all processed inside your browser. Nothing is sent to us or stored on a server.
