About Draw With Camera

Draw With Camerahelps you get a picture onto paper. Your phone's camera shows your page with the picture laid over it, half see-through, and you trace the lines with your own pencil. It's the camera lucida, an artist's drawing aid from 1806, rebuilt for the phone in your pocket.

It runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install and no account to make. Tracing, the light box and photo to sketch are free, with no ads. A paid Pro plan with timelapse videos, more practice sketches and lessons is on the way.

Your pictures stay on your device: the camera view and every outline are processed inside your browser and never uploaded. See the privacy policy.
